Lace Up for Literacy

May 15 to 31, 2020

Lace up your walking shoes and start moving

to support Literacy Volunteers of Washington County!

All ages, all fitness levels welcome!

  • Set a goal to walk anywhere anytime during a two-week period, May 15-31, 2020

  •  Pledge an amount for your total number of miles. Get sponsors to help!

  • You can walk anywhere you'd like during this event. Some suggested routes can be found at https://bricksandmurals.org/downtown-map/ or  https://westerlylandtrust.org/properties/trail-maps/

  • Encourage others to join you. Family and friends can also register, wherever they are located!

  • Connect with other walkers through social media by using the hashtag  #LaceUpLVWC and posting photos on the Literacy Volunteers of Washington County Facebook page. Please share with us: great walking routes, nature photos, dog walks, new discoveries - whatever piques your interest!

Go to REGISTER to sign up

Or pledge a set donation and reach your goal at your own pace.

When you have reached your goal, go to DONATE to complete your pledge.

Sponsors can also go to DONATE to submit their pledges.

The first 50 people to sign up get a free one-month membership to
Libro.fm, your online audiobook specialists.

This is a wonderful way to support your local bookstore as well! We recommend the Savoy Bookstore here in Westerly, RI, or its sister store, Bank Square Books in Mystic, CT
