Donate to our 2024 Annual Appeal
Your generosity keeps us going strong!
Gifts to Literacy Volunteers are 100% tax deductible.
Literacy Volunteers of Washington County depends on individual donations, as well as grants from corporations and foundations, to keep our free programs and services available to all. LVWC offers
programs in basic English literacy, English for speakers of other languages, citizenship preparation,
job training, college prep, and GED support. Your contribution to LVWC makes it all possible!
Your donation to the Annual Appeal helps fund the Bob Richins Scholarship.
This year's winner of The Bob Richins Scholarship Award, Washington Cobena, shown here with executive director Mary Carol Kendzia, passed his U.S. citizenship exam on October 17, 2023. He continues to work with his tutor at Literacy Volunteers on improving his English language skills, while applying for work in the field of computer engineering.
